Kate leads yoga classes in the Henley-on-Thames



Katie has been doing yoga for over 20 years and qualified as a Yoga Alliance instructor in 2008, when she was 35 weeks pregnant.  She has done training with various swamis, from different yoga disciplines, including Iyengar, Sivinanda, Vinyasa Flow, Meditation and the British Wheel of Yoga, all of which she brings to her practice.

Katie shares much of her in-depth knowledge of human anatomy with her yoga teaching; allowing her students to learn about themselves and let their own bodies be their guides and teachers.  This empowers them to leave the class and take their yoga into their daily lives.  In her longer lessons, Katie brings Pranayama (breathing exercises) and a long meditation.  In the hour long sessions, pranayama is done with the movement and holding poses and there is an ending relaxation.  Katie feels it a great privilege to the hold the space for others to grow and journey along their path with Yoga and looks forward to working with you.  

As well as doing Yoga, Katie rows, swims and cycles.  She is also available for Bowen treatments and one to one coaching.
