Chris qualified in 1998, specialising in all areas of succession planning, including wills, probate, trust, powers of attorney.

Chris has worked for over twenty years as a private client solicitor.  His aim to provide practical and good value legal solutions based on an up to date knowledge of the Law.

Career Before joining 360 Law Services in 2019, Chris trained at Mercers in Henley-on-Thames, then led private client departments at various City law firms, including Vardags, a leading Legal 500 firm. Chris also qualified as a Cayman Lawyer after working for an international firm on the islands.

Chris has over twenty years of experience advising clients both in England and internationally on succession planning and wealth preservation. He has expertise in wills, trusts, probate both as executor and advising solicitor. Chris also specialises in tax planning, onshore and offshore structuring, lasting powers of attorney and mental health law. Recent cases include advising on a probate involving a property company and a claim for business property relief and acting as an executor on a multinational probate.

Chris uses the access to the latest legal software provided by 360 Law Services to allow clients to sign wills remotely and for all regulated work. Chris enjoys working work collaboratively with his clients to administer estates and draft documents. He works well with other expert lawyers in England and around the world. Chris’ practice is varied, as he can be doing wills, probate administration and dealing with a difficult tax issue on the same day. Chris also undertakes more detailed trust work, such as a variation of a company employee benefit trust and a discretionary trust.

Chris works through his own limited company, Domus Libra Limited, for all unregulated work.

Personal  After attending The King’s School Canterbury, Chris read History at University College, London, and studied Law at the College of Law. In his spare time, Chris coaches and competes in rowing both offshore (having rowed across the Atlantic) and onshore.
